It was just great! The numerous young people of the Lafayette, Indiana United Church of God participated in almost every facet of Sabbath services....from door greeters to song leading to sermonette, scripture reading, opening and closing prayer and special music. We were all inspired by our young people and the message this sent to all of us about our future. Mike Grovak gave a sermon about just that....passing on the baton and had a ceremonial passing on of the baton after service from parents to children.
Afterwards we had a potluck meal outside on a perfect Sabbath afternoon. Almost 70 people were in attendance. We hope to do this again before too long. It was just too good! To see more photos of the event click here.
