Invitation to apply to attend the UCG Fall Festival in Estonia this fall

We plan to hold the Fall Festival in Tartu, Estonia again this fall and would like to invite your application to attend.  You can receive an application by emailing

estonia@kubik.org

Take a look at our reports from years gone by by going to www.kubik.org/estonia.

Here is the report from the current United News

Estonia

Tartu

After five years of holding small local Festivals, we are once again planning a larger Feast of Tabernacles in historic Tartu, Estonia's second largest city. Estonia is nestled between Russia, the Baltic Republics and Scandinavia. We hope to bring brethren together from these areas along with transfers from the United States and Europe.

Our first meeting will be Monday evening, Oct. 17. The meetings will be held at the Atlantis Club on the Emajoe River, which is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. You will not need to rent a car as many restaurants and sights are within walking distance. Taxis are plentiful and inexpensive.

Median coach airfare cost from the United States to Tallinn, Estonia, is about $1,000 to $1,100 per person. After arriving in the capital city, there is an easy 2 1⁄2-hour bus ride to Tartu. The hotel is a little more than a block from the bus station.

We have reserved 35 rooms at the Pallas Hotel in Tartu with more available at the London Hotel.

The daily rates are as follows: single, $65; double, $84; deluxe suite, $120.

In the past several years we have been building our Good News subscription list and sending out the Bible Study Course and some booklets in the Estonian language. We are preparing to send out literature soon in the Russian language. We are reaching many people who just a little more than a decade ago were part of the Soviet Union. We want to make the Feast a time when we can make ourselves available to our subscribers as well as our brethren.

We plan a number of excursions into the countryside along with a trip to the island of Saaramaa and the capital city of Tallinn. Also, we especially encourage young adults to come and visit us this year. We are planning a number of activities and service opportunities.

Reservations: To attend, you must send for an application by e-mailing Festival coordinator Victor Kubik at estonia@kubik.org or by writing to 3707 Turfway Court, Indianapolis, IN 46228-2095 or calling (317) 216-0802. We will be posting more information for the Feast at www.kubik.org/estonia that gives much more information. Come join us for a memorable time.
